Upcoming Events

We are excited to announce the XX Gait and Brain Seminar, presented in partnership with the Gait & Brain Lab and the Brain Health Care (BHCare) Training Platform, on October 20, 2026, from 3:00–4:30 PM EST.

This hybrid seminar will feature Dr. Zahinoor Ismail, Professor of Psychiatry, Neurology, Epidemiology, and Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Calgary. His presentation, “Mild Behavioral Impairment and Gait Dysfunction: The Value of Non-Cognitive Markers of Dementia,” will explore how behavioral and mobility changes may serve as complementary non-cognitive indicators of dementia risk, with implications for earlier detection, risk stratification, prevention strategies, and clinical trials. A question-and-answer period will follow the presentation.

Participants may attend in person at Parkwood Mental Health Building, Auditorium F2-235, in London, Ontario, or online via Zoom. Clinicians, researchers, trainees, and others interested in brain health, aging, and dementia are encouraged to attend.
